Dream With Us!
We live in a great community! What could make it even better?
What would you like to see happen in the Quesnel area in the next decade? What are your
dreams – big or small, modest or visionary? Capture your idea in 75 words or less, and share it
with us!
Eight years ago, a few people in Quesnel had a dream – to create a community foundation.
They started an endowment fund to provide a lasting legacy for the region by generating
investment income that would be distributed where it was needed. Dreams do come true.
Today the Quesnel Community Foundation has well over $640,000 in its endowment and is on
track for a million.
Now, we want to harness the collective energy and creativity of our community.
Share with us your ideas of what would add to Quesnel to make it better. Inspire us to
imagine what Quesnel could and should be. And, what role do you see the Quesnel
Community Foundation playing in our future? Turn on some light bulbs, take us in some
new directions, and help us to see the possibilities you envision for our community.

The evening will include a gourmet dinner catered by the chef at the Inn at Moose Heights, presentation of the awards and entertainment. Our Grants Committee has chosen nine deserving community groups to receive awards at our Awards Gala on Saturday, April 19. For the first time, we will be able to give $25,000 in grants to our community. Tickets for this event are $60 and are available from QCF Board members, by calling Deborah Grantham at 747-7491, from the Quesnel and District Museum at 992-9580 or Carver’s Clothing Company at 992-6664.
- Dreaming as a community
These ideas will also be shared on our website and possibly in other local venues. Who’s to
say what might come out of our collective brainstorming? What new dreams will take root and
grow? The Quesnel Community Foundation can help to plant the seeds.
Dream with us today, for tomorrow!
